Born and raised in South Auckland, Mark attended Mangere Central School, Mangere Intermediate, and Aorere College. Also an avid sportsman he played for Mangere East Hawks and Papatoetoe Rugby Club.
Mark’s working life started in the army after which he spent time in the prison service. It was while there he saw the need for better legal representation which was the catalyst to studying law. Mark had a long career as a professional fire fighter and raised a family during which time he completed his law studies.
After graduation, Mark practiced Employment Law representing and negotiating collective agreements for flight attendants.
Since 2010, Mark has exclusively practised Criminal Law in Auckland and Manukau, fulfilling his goal to support and give back to his community.
